I was commissioned by the metal band Parius to create an album cover that was inspired by the classic horror movie posters from the 1930s and '40s. The band and I went back and forth between a few different compositions, but we eventually settled on one that was close to what they band originally suggested and one of my first sketches. This was a really fun piece to paint, especially the saturated color scheme.
