This poster was commissioned for the short horror film "Givertaker," which premiered at the 2016 Fantastic Fest in Austin. The writer and director wanted a '90s teen horror paperback feel to the image, so I wound up looking at a lot of Christopher Pike books for inspiration for the colors and text design.
